About the priesthood: The priest is called in a special way to imitate Christ, who holds the offices of Priest, Prophet, and King in their fullness.  As a priest, the ordained must offer his life in joyful sacrifice for the good of the Kingdom.  He also must sanctify the faithful through frequent celebration of the Sacraments-particularly Penance and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  As a prophet, he must diligently spread the Gospel to all peoples.  He must zealously guard and proclaim those doctrines that have been handed down to him from the Apostles.  Finally, as king, he is tasked with leading the faithful.  He must help orient society so that it is conformed to the Kingdom of God in its laws and in all aspects of daily life.
