About the priesthood: I feel that being a priest is the most important job in the world. Without the priest there will be no sacraments and with out any sacraments I believe it is impossible to fullfill what Jesus commands of us in the gospel of John when He says, "I give you a new commandment: love one another, As I have loved you, so you also should love one another" (Jn 13:34). I believe without the sacraments of the Catholic Church (especially the Eucharist) it is impossible to fulfill this commandment. How else can one love as God loves without the love of God dwelling inside of him from the Eucharist received usually at Mass? I know it is impossible for humans to love as Christ loves, left to their abilities. Yet with faith I believe it is possible to receive God in the Eucharist, then filled with His love go forth and love others as Christ did.
