About the priesthood : The priest is a man of prayer, always conscious of the Lord's presence. Through the grace of the Holy Spirit manifested in and through the Catholic Church, the priest makes Jesus Christ present to others through: teaching, preaching and the sacraments (especially the Eucharist.) The priest is unique in that he is both a fellow pilgrim with all believers and those who seek God's truth, love and salvation; yet by virtue of the sacrament of Holy Orders he is also a man called to be both a spiritual physician and a spiritual father to all within the Church. The priest is attentive to others, with a heart modeled on the mercy and love of Christ. A diocesan priest is explicitly called forth from a real and human community to serve the very same local Church and community. It is a privilege to be a seminarian for the Diocese of Toledo. To serve Christ in and through the Holy Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of Toledo is a humbling, real, and joyful experience. Please pray for all seminarians as we pray for you.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading, music, traveling, spending time with family and friends, writing, reflection, art, good movies and television and sports.
