About the priesthood : Growing up in the Catholic School system in Tiffin, I never "imagined the possibility" of priesthood until my Junior Year at Calvert High School. Until that time I thought that priests were extremely holy, extremely smart, and extremely old people. In other words, they were nothing like I was. It was in that year that I met a priest that seemed to be a normal person. He was still holy, smart, and old (well, older than me) but for the first time I could imagine a priest as someone like me. He listened to the same music I did, liked the food that I liked, watched the sports that I watched, and he was so full of joy and passion for following God that I remember thinking, "he's got it all, maybe I can do that too." Priesthood is all about being that human bridge who brings Christ to others in Sacrament, relationship, and example.
